Substance Designer Absolute Transformations
Absolute Transformations node collection.
This is a collection of transformations: Translate, Rotation, Uniform Scale, Scale, Stretch, Skew and Bend, which behave in an absolute manner, that is, independent of any previous transformations, unlike the Default Transform 2D which are always relative to the previous transformation set in the node. These transformations are easier to use and more prompted to be part of a procedural workflow as they only depend on the parameter defined in each node. Main constraint is how they tile which might not be the best result in certain situations, but the nodes are better use for transforming shapes that are going to be layered.
This collection started as a basic exercise to understand the Pixel Processor node inside Substance Designer, following the example tutorial by Andrei Zelenco you can find in this Facebook Group (Inside the Node) https://bit.ly/3wLZaeD For more of Zelenco's work you can see his Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/andreizelenco
Hopefully you can find these nodes useful, let me know directly any suggestion or feedback here: rojasmillan.julian@gmail.com
